ABOUT BRANDENBURG ONE

Brandenburg One is Australian Brandenburg Orchestra's immersive new digital content platform. On this inventive new stage we will share with you the joy and passion of Baroque music whenever you want, and wherever you are.

Brandenburg One showcases the Bach Series, a fortnightly series of newly-produced performances by the brilliant Brandenburg musicians on period instruments of JS Bach’s works for unaccompanied instruments. These profound works for solo violin, cello, lute, flute, harpsichord and other instruments reveal the immense talent of Australia’s finest period musicians. This dazzling series of new performances pays tribute to the ingenious compositions of the great composer whose music inspired the conception of the orchestra in 1989.

Brandenburg One also features newly-released recordings of past concerts, archival performance footage, in-depth podcasts, and instrument, composer and musician profiles. This new digital stage will allow our talented musicians to keep sharing the music we all love - with you
